Chief Project Engineer
(V), DCSEM, DAE, on behalf of the President of India, invites sealed tenders
(in Two Bids), from eligible contractors for the work “Providing and fixing M.S. guard bar (grill) for Aluminium windows,
M.S. ladders in PH shafts and RCC pre-cast perforated covers (Heavy duty
and Medium duty) for SW drains for V-E & PG hostel for TMC in western sector at Anushaktinagar,
Mumbai – 400094.
Tenders shall be received up to 15.00
hours on 03-09-2008 and only Technical bids shall be opened at
15.30 hours on the same day at V.S.Bhavan , Anushaktinagar.

EMD shall be received at the time of opening of
Financial Bids. Financial Bids shall be opened at a later date, which
will be notified separately. Opening of Financial bid shall be subject to short listing of
the bidders after verification of their credentials and inspection of works
carried out by them, through a Technical Committee of experts formed by DCSEM.
Tender documents can be had from
20.08.2008 to 29.08.2008 on any working day between 11.00 & 16.00 Hrs.
from DCSEM office at 3rd floor, Vikram Sarabhai Bhavan, Anushaktinagar, on
application with the following credentials:
a)
Proof of registration with Government / Semi Government organisations like Railways, PWD, CPWD, MES etc. in
appropriate class and / or having experience in carrying out similar type of
works;
b)
Latest solvency certificate of minimum Rs.6.00 Lakhs
from any scheduled banks,
c)
List of construction plants, machinery &
infrastructure facilities to complete the work in time,
d)
List of technical staff they possess,
e)
List of similar works in hand and Works carried out by them for the
last five years indicating Annual Turnover, the Agency for whom executed, Value
of work, Completion time: Stipulated & Actual or present position of the
work.
f)
Performance certificates.
Parties
fulfilling following criteria shall only be considered for issue of tender
documents:
i)
Average annual turnover of not less than Rs 7.50 Lakh during
last three years ending 31.03.08, indicated in ITCC or Profit & Loss
statement.
ii)
Experience of having successfully completed
following works during the last five years ending 31.03.2008.

3 similar works completed costing not less than Rs. 6.00 Lakh each OR
·
2 similar works completed costing not less than Rs. 9.00 Lakh each OR
·
1 similar work completed costing not less than Rs. 12.00 Lakh.
iii)
Similar work shall means: R.C.C Works, Road and SWD works Comprising of structural steel Works / supplying and placing
SFRC. R.C.C. pre-cast covers etc
.In the absence of any documents listed above, the requisition for issue
of tender forms will not be considered. Cost
of tender documents Rs.500/- (Non-refundable), payable in the form of cash,
DD/ P.O. from any Scheduled Bank, drawn in favour of
Accounts Officer, DCSEM, DAE, and Mumbai. Department reserves the right to
accept the tender in full or in part, or reject the tender(s) in full or part
without assigning any reason thereof. Tender with any condition including
conditional rebate, shall be rejected forthwith.
