NOTICE FOR PREQUALIFICATION CUM TENDER

Chief
Engineer, DCSE, DAE, 4th floor, V.S Bhavan, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai-400 094 on
behalf of President of India invites sealed Tenders (in Two Bids) form eligible
contractors for “External development
works, expansion and restoration of substation and covered car parking for OYC
and Anushakti Bhavan at Mumbai.”

Pre-Bid meeting will be held on 27.05.2008 at 1500 hrs at the
office of Project Engineer (SMW), DCSE, DAE, at OYC, Mumbai,
Tenders shall be received upto 1500 hrs on 10.6.2008 and only Technical Bid
shall be opened at 1530 Hrs on the same day at the office of Head (PCD), DCSE,
DAE, at 3rd floor Vikaram Srabhai Bhavan, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai.
EMD shall be received at the time of opening of Financial
Bid. Financial Bid hall be opened at a
later date, which will be notified separately. Opening of Financial Bid shall
be subject to short listing of the bidders after verification of their
credentials and inspection of quality of works carried out by them, through a
Technical Committee of experts formed by DCSEM.
Tender documents for work can be had from 12.5.2008 to 22.05.2008 on any
working day between 1100 & 1600 Hrs from the office of Head(PCD)at DCSE,
DAE, 3rd floor, V.S Bhavan, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai-400 094 on application with
following credentials.

Proof of registration with Government / Semi
Government organizations like Railways, PWD, CPWD, MES etc. in appropriate
class or having experience in carrying out similar type of works. |

2. |
Latest solvency certificate of minimum Rs. 31 lakh
from any schedule Bank. |
||
|
3. |
List of construction plants,
machinery & infrastructure facilities to complete the work in time. |
||
|
4. |
List of technical staff they possess etc. |
5. Performance
certificates. |
|
|
6. |
List of similar works in hand and Works carried out
by them for the last five years indicating Annual Turnover, the Agency for
whom executed, Value of work, Completion time: Stipulated & Actual or
present position of the work. |

Parties
fulfilling following criteria shall only be considered for issue of tender
documents & prequalification. |

Average annual turnover not less than Rs. 70.00 lakh
during last 3 years ending 31.03.2008 indicating in ITCC or profit &
Loss statement. |

b |
Experience of having successfully completed similar
works in last 5 years ending 30.4.2008. |
||
|
|
|
||
|
Similar works shall mean civil construction work |

In the absence of any documents listed above, the agency
will not be considered for prequalification. Cost of tender documents Rs. 1000/-
(Non-refundable) for each tender, which shall be paid Cash or in the form of Demand Draft payable to Accounts Officer,
DCSEM, D.A.E Mumbai. Department reserves the right to accept or reject the
tender(s) in full or part without assigning any reason thereof. Tender with any
condition including conditional rebate shall be rejected forthwith.
