India invites sealed Tenders (in two Bid) from
eligible contractors for:
1. Development
works such as Roads, Retaining walls, Storm water drains,
RCC underground tanks Pump rooms & bore well for flushing water supply
& allied works for 96 flats of TIFR at New Mandala,
Anushaktinagar, Mumbai-400094.
2.
Providing
external PH engineering works such as water supply (Domestic & flushing),
Sewerage systems etc. for 96 flats for TIFR at New Mandala,
Anushaktinagar, Mumbai- 400094.
Tender shall be
received up to 15.00 hrs and bid shall be opened at 15:30 hrs by Head (PCD),
DCSE at V. S. Bhavan on the day mentioned below:

EMD shall be received at the time of opening of financial
bids. Financial bids shall be opened at a later date, which shall be notified
separately. Opening of Financial bid shall be subject to short listing the
bidders after verification of their credentials and inspection of works carried
out by them, through a Technical Committee of experts formed by DCSEM.
Pre-bid meeting can be had with prior appointment with Head (PCD), 3rd floor, V. S. Bhavan, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai-400094.
Contractors will
have to submit Performance Guarantee
@ 5% and Security Deposit shall be @ 5% of tendered amount (as per the
format of tender condition).
Tender documents for work can be had on
application with the following credentials, from 07.07.2008 to 25.07.2008 for tender at Sr. No 1 & from 07.07.2008 to 18.07.2008 for tender at Sr. No 2 on any working day between
11.00 & 16.00 Hrs. from DCSE office at V.S.
Bhavan.

Proof
of registration with Government / Semi Government organizations like Railways,
PWD, CPWD, MES, MJP etc. in appropriate
class and / or having experience in carrying out similar type of works;
2.
List of construction plants, machinery &
infrastructure facilities to complete the work in time.

4.
Performance
certificates.
5.
List
of similar works in hand and Works carried out by them for the last five years
indicating Annual Turnover, the Agency for whom executed, Value of work,
Completion time: Stipulated & Actual or present position of the work.
Parties
fulfilling following criteria shall only be considered for issue of tender
documents & pre-qualification:

1. Similar work for work at Sl. No. 1 shall mean construction of RCC water retaining
structure and Development works such as roads, retaining walls, etc.
2. Similar work for work at Sl. No. 2 shall mean Providing & laying of CI / DI
water supply mains, valve chambers, SW Sewer lines, manholes & inspection
chambers etc. for housing projects
3. Average annual
turnover shall be assessed based on
profit & loss statement or latest income tax return filed with IT
Department
In the absence of any
documents listed above, the requisition for issue of tender forms will not be
considered. Cost of tender documents (1)
Rs. 1500/-, (2) @ Rs. 500/-
(Non-refundable) shall be paid in cash / DD, payable to Accounts Officer,
DCSEM, DAE, Mumbai. Department reserves the right to accept the work in full or
in part, or reject the tender(s) in full or
part without assigning any reason thereof. Tender with any condition including
conditional rebate, shall be rejected forthwith.
