eligible electrical contractor for the work of
“Providing
electrical works for Central common facilities for Athletic and Aquatic
training of students in Eastern Sector of Anushaktinagar
, Mumbai:94.”

Submission
: The tenders shall be
received upto 1500
hrs on 20.06.2008 by Head P & C
(E&M), Directorate of Construction, Services & Estate Management, Vikram Sarabhai Bhavan, 4th Floor
North Wing, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai- 94 and
the technical bid (Part-I) only shall be opened at 1530 hrs. on
the same day.
EMD in the form of Demand Draft or Pay Order or FDR in
favour of "Pay
& Accounts Officer, DCSEM, DAE, Mumbai", shall be received at the
time of opening of Financial bid ( Part-II ).
Financial bid shall be opened at a later date, which will be notified
separately. Opening of Financial bid shall be subjected to shortlisting
the bidders
after verification of their credentials and inspection of works carried out by
them, through a Technical committee of experts formed by DCSE.
Tender documents for work can be had from 16.05.08 to 30.05.08 on
any working day between 11.00 & 16.00 Hrs. from the office of the Head P & C (E&M), Directorate of Construction,
Services & Estate Management, Vikram Sarabhai Bhavan, 4th Floor North Wing, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai - 94 on application with the
following credentials :
a)
Proof of registration with
Government / Semi Government organisations like
Railways, PWD, CPWD, MES etc. in appropriate class and / or having experience
in carrying out similar type of works.
b)
List of construction plants, machinery & infrastructure facilities
to complete the work in time.
c)
List of technical
staff they possess etc.
d)
List of similar
works in hand and Works carried out by them for the last five years indicating
Annual Turnover, the Agency for whom executed, Value of work, Completion time:
Stipulated & Actual or present position of the work. (Copies of work orders
and schedule of quantities also to be submitted.)
e)
Performance
certificates.
f)
Experience
Certificate of having carried out a similar works.
g)
W.C.T.
Registration Certificate.
Parties fulfilling following
criteria shall only be considered for issue of tender documents & prequalification:
i)
Average annual
turnover of not less than Rs. 96 Lakhs during last three years ending 31.03.08,
indicated in ITCC or Profit & Loss statement.
ii) Latest solvency certificate of minimum Rs. 36.00 Lakhs
from any scheduled bank.
iii)
Experience of having successfully completed following works during the
last five years ending 30.04.08

3 similar works
completed costing not less than Rs. 36. 00 Lakhs each OR
·
2 similar works
completed costing not less than Rs. 45.00 Lakhs each OR
·
1 similar work
completed costing not less than Rs. 72.00 Lakhs.
Similar work shall mean supply, installation, testing
& commissioning of electrical works like M.V. Panels, cable, Streetlighting,
Distribution boards, Lighting fixtures and fittings, and associated point
wiring.
In the absence of any documents listed above, the
requisition for issue of tender forms will not be considered. Cost of tender documents Rs. 1000/- (Non-refundable) shall be paid in cash.
Department reserves the right to accept the work in full or in part, or reject
the tender(s) in full or part without assigning any reason thereof. Tender
with any condition including conditional rebate shall be rejected forth with.
