Chief Engineer, DCSEM, DAE, on behalf of President of India,
invites sealed Tenders (in Two Bids)
from eligible Licensed Electrical contractors for the work of “Substation and external electrical works at NIUS,
HBCSE, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai -94”.

Tender documents will be on sale from 01/07/2008 to 15/07/2008 on
any working day between 11.00 &
16.00 Hrs..
Pre-Bid meeting will
be held on 18/07/2008 at 1430 Hrs in the office of Head, P&C(E&M).
Tenders
in two separate sealed envelopes (Technical Bid & Financial Bid) shall be
received in the office of Head, P&C(E&M) upto 15.00 hrs on 29/07/2008
and only Technical bids shall be opened at 15.30 Hrs. on the same day.
EMD
in a separate sealed cover shall be received at the time of opening of Financial bids. Financial bids shall be opened at a later
date, which will be notified separately. Opening of Financial bid shall be
subject to shortlisting the bidders on verification
of their credentials and inspection of works carried out by them, through a
Technical Committee of experts formed by DCSEM.
Tender documents can be had on application with the following credentials
from the office of Head, P&C(E&M), 4th
Floor, North Wing, V.S.Bhavan, Anushaktinagar,
Mumbai – 94.
1.
Proof of
registration with Government / Semi Government organisations
like DAE, Railways, PWD, CPWD, MES etc. in appropriate class and/or having
experience in carrying out similar type of works.
2.
List of
construction plants, machinery & infrastructure facilities to complete the
work in time.
3.
List of
technical staff they possess etc.
4.
List of
similar works in hand and Works carried out by them for the last five years
indicating the Agency for whom executed, Value of work, Completion time:
Stipulated & Actual or
present position of the work.
5.
Performance
certificates.
Parties fulfilling following criteria shall only be considered
for issue of tender documents & prequalification:
i)
Average annual
turnover of not less than Rs. 23 Lakhs during last three years ending 31.03.08, as indicated in ITCC or Profit & Loss
statement.
ii)
Latest
solvency certificate of minimum Rs 18.4 Lakhs from any scheduled banks.
iii)
Experience of
having successfully completed following works during the last 7 years ending 30.04.08.

3 similar
works completed costing not less than Rs.18.4
Lakhs each OR
·
2 similar
works completed costing not less than Rs. 27.6 Lakhs each OR
·
1 similar work
completed costing not less than Rs. 36.8 Lakhs.
Similar work(s) shall mean Electrical
Sub-Station and associated works like HT, MV & Transformer etc.
In
the absence of any documents listed above, the requisition for issue of tender
forms will not be considered. Cost of
tender documents Rs. 500/- (Non-refundable) to be paid in cash to Accounts Officer,
DCSEM. Department reserves the right to accept the work in full or in part, or reject the tender(s) in full or part
without assigning any reason thereof. Tender with any condition including
conditional rebate, shall be rejected forthwith.
