Tenders in Two Separate Sealed
Envelopes (Technical Bid & Financial Bid) shall be received in the office
of Head, P&C(E&M) as mentioned above, upto 15.00 hrs on 12/06/2008 and only Technical Bids shall be opened at 15.30 Hrs. on the same day.
Pre-Bid
meeting will be held on 30/05/2008 at 1430 Hrs in the office of Head, P&C(E&M), DCSEM, 4th Floor, North Wing Vikram Sarabhai Bhavan, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai-400094.
EMD in a Separate
Sealed Envelope shall be received at the time of opening of Financial Bids.
Financial Bids shall be opened at a later date, which will be notified
separately. Opening of Financial Bid shall be subject to short listing the
bidders on verification of their Credentials and Inspection of Works carried
out by them, through a Technical Committee of experts formed by DCSEM.
Tender Documents can be had on application with the
following credentials from 12/05/2008 to 26/05/2008 on any working day between 11.00 & 16.00 Hrs. from the office
of Head, P&C(E&M :
1.
Proof of registration with Government / Semi
Government Organisations like DAE, Railways, PWD,
CPWD, MES etc. in appropriate class and / or having experience in carrying out
similar type of works.
2.
List of construction Tools, Plants, Machinery & Infrastructure facilities to complete the
work in time.
3.
List of technical staff they possess etc.
4.
List of similar works in hand and Works carried out
by them for the last five years indicating the Agency for whom
executed, Value of work, Completion time: Stipulated & Actual or present
position of the work.
5.
Performance certificates.
Parties
fulfilling following criteria shall only be considered for issue of tender
documents and pre-qualification :
i)
Average annual turnover of not less than Rs. 72 Lakhs
during last three years ending 31/03/2007
as indicated in ITCC or Profit & Loss Statement.
ii)
Latest solvency certificate of minimum Rs. 15 Lakhs
from any scheduled bank.
iii)
Experience of having successfully completed
following works during last five years ending 31/03/2008.

3 similar works completed costing not less
than Rs. 15 Lakhs each OR
·
2 similar works completed costing not less
than Rs. 18.75 Lakhs each OR
·
1 similar work completed costing not less than Rs. 30 Lakhs.
Similar
work shall mean Electrical Substation
Work consisting of Transformer, Breaker & associated works.
In the
absence of any documents listed above with the application, the requisition for
issue of tender will not be considered. Cost of tender documents Rs. 500/- (Non-refundable) shall be paid
in cash to Accounts Officer, DCSE, DAE, Mumbai.
Department reserves the right to accept the work in full or in part, or
reject the tender(s) in full or part without assigning any reason thereof.
Tenders with any condition including conditional rebate shall be rejected
forthwith.
